The stroll

Alpacas are generally not stuffed animals. They communicate by humping.

Jaego, Joy and Lizzie are used to a lot of attention and luckily don't mind cuddling.

If they are approached calmly, they will certainly come and sniff and maybe give kisses, because yes they can.

Alpacas are very friendly animals by nature, but they can sometimes kick as they have very sensitive legs, so we always recommend approaching them from the front.

Alpacas are very curious animals that rarely spit at people.

During the walk there is ample opportunity to ask questions, take pictures and pet/cuddle the Alpacas.

The walk takes about 1.5 hours.

House rules and tips

We prefer that children up to the age of 12 have the Alpacas held by an adult. They can walk next to the adult holding the animal. This is because the alpaca can be startled by something and suddenly pull. Maximum 1 child per paying adult. There is one alpaca for every 2 people.

However, participation in the walk is at your own risk at all times.

Dogs are generally not allowed on the walk. Exceptions can be made. Please contact us for this.

Advice: bring boots or walking shoes in damp weather and a pair of gloves on cold days.

We do not recommend slippers or open shoes, because an alpaca has pretty sharp nails if they accidentally step on your toes.

We assume that a maximum of 6 people will accompany you per walk, so that 1 Alpaca can be walked per 2 people.

This keeps it calm and clear.

It is possible to bring prams, buggies and wheelchairs along during the walk.

If you have any questions or wishes, you can always let us know by phone or email.

Then we will jointly see if we can meet your wishes.

IMPORTANT: If it rains or thunders hard at your reserved walking time, we will unfortunately have to move the walk to another time, because the Alpacas do not like to walk in the rain.
